Application Deadlines for Autumn 2013-14
The application for Autumn 2013 admission is now closed.
PhD:

MS:

The online application will reopen in September 2013.

We do not accept applications for any other start quarter.

Supporting material for online applications and all materials for those submitting paper applications should be RECEIVED in our office (not postmarked) by the application deadline.

Application Review

File review begins promptly after the application deadline. We urge applicants to take the GRE and TOEFL, if necessary, well before the application deadline.

Decisions Announced

PhD: late February 2013

MS: late March 2013

Notification is sent via email only.

Current Stanford Students
MS applications are accepted twice a year.

PhD applications are accepted only once a year, to begin autumn quarter.

MS: October 12, 2012  (decisions announced approximately one month later)

         February 5, 2013

PhD: December 11, 2012 (same as the external application deadline)
