The month of October saw Tze Lai honored with the Ray Lyman Wilbur Professorship, in the 30th anniversary year of his move from Columbia to Stanford, and Emmanuel Candès elected as a MacArthur Fellow. This calls for cake! Let's have some at 3pm in the courtyard, and celebrate our two amazing colleagues.
