The month of October saw Tze Lai honored with the Ray Lyman Wilbur Professorship, in the 30th anniversary year of his move from Columbia to Stanford, and Emmanuel Candès elected as a MacArthur Fellow. This calls for cake!
BOO! The spookiest night of the year is fast approaching, and what would the season be without the annual Statistics Department Halloween Potluck?! It will be held on October 27th at 4:30pm in the Lounge and Library.
