Demolition of Old Sequoia Hall

Original department chair Albert Bowker was on hand to provide parting words on the occasion of the final day of the last remaining remnant of the once-glorious Old Roble Hall (a smaller twin of the now-glorious Encina Hall), the first women's dormitory on Stanford's campus, the ultimately decrepit-but-much-loved Sequoia Hall. Its total destruction was to make room for a bigger and better home to come!
