Join us in the Lounge for a fun-packed tea time when, in addition to the usual cuppa and delicious treats, you can play ‘BEFORE THEY WERE FAMOUS’. Thanks to our very sporting faculty, competitors will have the opportunity to try to guess who’s who from a selection of childhood photos representing the crème de la crème of the statistics world: coincidentally all members of our very own department! Prizes to be awarded include bragging rights and the singular sight of some laughably embarrassed profs. This event is not to be missed!
Congratulations to Kevin Guo, who pipped Suyash at the post in a sudden death round by identifying Ronald Fisher as a child. They each scored 20 out of 27! And well done also to Swarnadip who came in a close third with 19. Thanks to all who played!
Answer sheets are now in the Lounge next to these impressive photo boards.
