Andrea Montanari receives IEEE's 2016 Massey Award

Andrea Montanari has been selected by the IEEE Information Theory Society to receive their 2016 James L. Massey Research & Teaching Award for Young Scholars. Named for the internationally acclaimed pioneer in digital communications who was also a revered teacher and mentor to an entire generation of communications engineers, this award was inaugurated in 2015 to recognize outstanding achievement in research and teaching by young scholars in the Information Theory community.
