Sourav Chatterjee elected to AAAS

Among the newly announced members of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences, which annually honors exceptional leaders, artists, scientists and scholars, Professor Chatterjee has been invited to continue to innovate and help advance the common good as part of this particularly American institution that was founded on ideals celebrating the life of the mind, the importance of knowledge, and the belief that the arts and sciences are "necessary to the interest, honor, dignity and happiness of a free, independent and virtuous people."
