Andrea Montanari has been named the Robert and Barbara Kleist Professor in the School of Engineering, and the Department of Statistics joins in congratulating him on this well-deserved honor. The Kleist Professorship was endowed in 1997 to honor a faculty member teaching and conducting research in information systems technology.
