Andrew Ilyas

My research pursues a precise empirical understanding of the entire machine learning pipeline, with an emphasis on data. My interests span tracing predictions back to training data, identifying and alleviating data bias, and studying machine learning robustness. I also like thinking more broadly about trust in AI systems, and have had the opportunity to contribute to writings on social media regulation and AI deployment.
