During his career, Charles Stein was acknowledged as the world’s premier mathematical statistician. He was also our treasured colleague of 50+ years, and the Statistics Department's intellectual leader.
Friends, family, and colleagues of Professor Stein will gather for an afternoon of talks surveying a few of his influential ideas, followed by a cocktail reception and dinner in the Berg Hall foyer.
