Amir Dembo elected to National Academy of Sciences

Amir Dembo

The NAS announced today the election of 120 members and 30 international members in recognition of their distinguished and continuing achievements in original research. Election to the Academy is considered one of the highest honors that can be accorded a scientist or engineer in the United States. Professor Dembo joins 13 department colleagues in receiving this great honor: congratulations!

A private, nonprofit institution established in 1863, the Academy — along with the National Academy of Engineering and the National Academy of Medicine — provides science, engineering, and health policy advice to the federal government and other organizations.
