RSS Journal webinar with Brad Efron announced

Three leading names in statistics are convening via the internet to take part in the next RSS Journal webinar, taking place October 21, 2015; the start time is set for 8am in California (PDT), 11am in New York (EDT), and 4pm in the UK (BST). The webinar will focus on Efron's paper, 'Frequentist accuracy of Bayesian estimates', which was recently published in the Royal Statistical Society's Series B journal (volume 77, part 3). Efron will introduce the paper, after which current RSS president Peter Diggle will chair a Q&A session with discussant Andrew Gelman of Columbia University, fielding questions from those who call in during the webinar.
